Jim, A sector that is starting to get some play is Fuel Cell Technology. Ballard Power (BLDP) is the leader in the field and is looking for production sites in the US or Ca. to be near the auto industry. They have a fuel cell system that replaces the internal combustion engine. Deals with Ford, Dymler Chrysler, and Coleman and several Japanese companies are moving the stock. Another conpany, PLUG is in development stage and partnering with GE. Fuel Cell Energy (FCL) is another sector stock but they and PLUG are working on large systems to provide electric power to buildings whereas BLDP is looking to put the cells everywhere.
