I thought the bond market wouldn't like the trade numbers, but when the stock market broke it didn't shock me that bonds rallied a bit. I didn't see any news that could account for the reversal. Maybe Mike knows.

Samir: I believe some asset allocation trades had been concluded, which had been helping the bonds. The spike up in Feb crude only added to the downside momentum in bondland. FWIW
