i knew something was up when flextronics didn't post any verbage touting their qtr. it was awful ;-) biz.yahoo.com they posted just the financials 'cause investors can't read financials ;-) now repeat after me "sector rotation into biotech, sector rotation into biotech" and click those glass slippers, homey!

The Fed figures continue to be shocking: bog.frb.fed.us If this country were in the midst of a civil war or an external war of some significance, this kind of thing would be understandable (if bad) as a way of financing a war effort. But in fact the budget is balanced and there is no wartime waste. This is pure irresponsibility. Have any good old fashioned Milton Friedman-type monetarists been commenting on this? What ever happened to the "shadow open market committee"? These figures are like Brazil.
