Tom, Your guidelines are sound, and absolutely must be adhered to in an average or slow market. However, this chaos volume in the market recently has opened up new opportunities for all traders. This is very easy right now, yet potentially fatal to those who are inexperienced, especially when things begin to go flat. Many are taking the gamble just to get in, and forfeiting that .05 to.30 (or more)(time to fill)profit. While I don't make a habit of it with movers, it can be effective, and still earn a trader a few dollars especially in these wild times.. As you well know, time will change things, and we will all have to conform to a more conservative trading philosophy.
