All i'm going to say about Tim is I was amazed at the time and effort he put into his calls, and the effort he made to help people, I appreciated it. As far his latest escapade over that private board, i'll let my feelings be known to him, if I ever have a chance to talk to him again.

Monty, You hit the nail on the head!

<<Tim's conviction in his calls made him very special. What
Beach and Bob are saying is the least you can do is not say
anything about Tim on this thread that you would not say
to his face. You should be thankful that he brought you all
together and leave it at that.>>

Monty, I personally agree with you. I will never stoop to talking about Tim behind his back. Yes, I was on his private site and we were starting to get something good going, where the small, newbie could learn something. I have not and do not need Tim's help, I, however enjoyed Tim's in your face attitude. But,what I really liked about him was his non selfserving commitment to help people. I like the refreshness of this thread as far as trading, not the NN this and CS that every other post. Cheers Tim, and hope the best for you.... ken
P.S. Keep up the good work and exchange of ideas folks, but, leave Tim be.

My 0.02....(like anyone cares)

Tim does have his good side...and his bad side. We all do. I learned that though my dealings with him. I have also learned that people are way too eager to pick a fight and speak their peace about people in their absence. But a funny thing is, (and I think I know Tim enough to say this)....He's probably lurking as we speak. Face it, there's nothing to stop him from getting access to SI one way or another. Sure, his conduct was questionable at times....at many, many times, but his efforts were admirable, and I'm sure he's making a genuine effort wherever the new consortium resides.

So next time you [not you, Monty] want to bash Tim for whatever, print a copy of this article and stare at it while you compose your post. Then go ahead and show everyone your many faces.

Monty,

All you say about Tim is true IMO and I have followed Tim for close to three years. This world is full of people that would TAKE the short off your back if you were freezing to death but Tim is NOT one of them. We were all lucky to have such a sincere and courtious helper here in the midst of every pump and dump artist who needed an audience to con.

I would have been swallowed up in this pit of pump and dump if it hadn't been for some direction Tim gave me a long time ago. Like many, I was too insecure about my lack of knowledge and chose not to post much over the years. However, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't say that much of the money I have made over the last couple of years is through the following of Tim here on this website. Ascend, Infoseek, Fore, OSI, CS along with many others were solid companies that helped me recover money I lost while being one of the "sheep" to a group that many of you belonged to.

Today, I'm a better trader with a growing sense of confidence about some of the basic rules of trading, but I owe much of my improvement to Tim. I'm sorry he's gone!
