Burt: I feel a lot better now that you think INTC has good management. Take this as a buying opportunity. Crusoe and AMD are not going to keep pace with INTC as it moves ahead in the cpu,com,64bit and networking markets. The fact that they are building more fab is a great indication that they are expecting rapid growth. Amy makes a good point that Crusoe's innovations are items that can be easily implemented. If that is what they worked so long and so secretly on it is a joke. Long live INTC. JFD

Burt - ref: Postmortem vs. pain.

The process is supposed to be impersonal, and people are generally not supposed to get "flayed". However, imagine if YOU are the one who owned the root cause mechanism. That's all I meant by "pain".
