...remember '98 No. I didn't follow SPX earnings back then. I don't think that the SPX earnings numbers I listed take into consideration rising interest rates. So, in addition to being simple extrapolations or guided estimates, important factors are neglected. But, the trend of the estimates has coincided with the rising SPX. No wonder the market is shrugging off rising T-bond yields.
