Semi used to carry Divi, in the old days. VCD raised that pup. Semi revenue was $64M, Divi was $51.7M

VCD was higher than I expected, But Divicom is $4M below what I expected. Divi won't grow next Q. Q1 is their slow time of the year. DVD ASPs must be higher then I thought, Umesh said 4M units for the year, 1.2M in the PC, and 2.8 in players. In an 8.5M unit player market for 1999, C-Cube has a 33% market share.

<First Divi carried Semi now Semi carries Divi? >

It's about time they carried the mail!
Wonder how bad they milked her with the cook books this Q..??LOLLO ...call it a parting gift. Now they kiss and part.

My question is how is CUBE going to grow selling 15$ codecs against 3, 4, 5,..more other players next year?? Will they make up for it in STB stuffs? DVD ..? Are they going to give everyone the same story as DVD??:

" once they start to integrate more functions into it we have the chip"
I hope not...lets see what they can do.

...don't get me wrong..I bought some more stock in AM with some new money that came in so I'm still in this for the long haul <GG> ..or till it gets internet spiced :-0
