The 'US Invest' trading system from Pacific Continental Securities Corporation (PCS) will give Asian and European investors a direct link to US stock markets, allowing users to trade effortlessly via the Internet. "There were several firms in the US, particularly California, pitching for the business, plus three or four from Hong Kong," Momentum director Jack W Flader, Jr, said. "At the end of the day, it was a combination of our traditional marketing background and expertise, coupled with thorough product knowledge, that gave us the advantage." Momentum's responsibilities will include ongoing promotional activities and content development of the 'US Invest' website, which will provide industry news, market research and tips from financial experts, as well as live stock prices and access to brokers to answer clients' questions and give on-line advice. "The site will include any material we find that we think will be of direct interest to users," technical director Graham Daley said. "Hopefully to keep users coming back for more." 'US Invest' at www.usinvest.com became fully operational mid-February 1997. Pacific Continental Securities will be opening an office in Hong Kong later in the year.

By: anticon Reply To: None Thursday, 20 Jan 2000 at 9:51 PM EST Post # of 16292 Why is it that whenever Zsun announces positive news releases in a market where Nasdaq appear to be reaching for the stars, its share price continues to drop. I have asked this question before. However, after that its share prices began to climb. Would we see a repeat performance here? Hmm.. I wonder. BTW, those of my pals who had invested with Oxford International previously took delivery of their stock certificates managed to dispose of their shares through on-line trading. The shares were Loraca (lcai), Titan Motorcycle (tmot), chequemate (ddd). You see the folks at Oxford were very reluctant to sell on their behalf citing reasons that there were no volume and selling would only bring down the price of their stock. This proved to be untrue. However, those who did not take delivery of their stock certificates are experiencing difficulty locating the whereabouts of their stocks although they have contacted the so called parent company of Oxford, P.T. Prasafika etc. where a William Strong is now President. ragingbull.com

Todays ZSUN tout trivia question. Which ZSUN tout said ZSUN would be $60 to $80 by 1999 years end? So, a valuation of $60 to $80 by financial year's end, based on a far lower PE (about 100) than PCNTF (PCNTF trades at $68 with projected EPS 24 cents for 1999, giving a PE of 280) is quite reasonable, since I believe total EPS for ZSUN could be in the 65 cents range. Of course this is only the personal opinion of someone biased in favor of ZSUN. Message 9491538

I bought into ZSUN without any research, relying on the broker's recommendation. I was a very happy man when it went up through the roof. Now I am less happy. My broker advises me to hold on. Apparently the short position is worth $8mln. They have to cover it some day. I bombarded Ziasun with my "I am very concerened" and "I demand some action" e-mails. Got a very nice reply from John Hirsch and many phone calls from my broker. They sound very confident. My stockholding is too small for them to keep me in. I am not worth their time and money spent on the phone calls. I believe they have something in the making to surprise the shorters. And they are very confident that the second quarter financial results (showing profits from the onlone training company; I uderstand the $0.11 profit per share is generated by Swiftrade only) will be great. There is one more thing which makes me hold on. You may have read those negative postings about John Cronin. Actually I have had a very good experience with him. I applied for Swiftrade account on line. I got a phone call from John (I am in NZ). He spent good 45 minutes on the phone, giving me a lot of good advise. But what impressed me most was, that he advised me against opening a marigin account. In his opinion I was not ready to take such risks. My loss - his profit, and still ... The rebuttal was very good, but much too late. This stock will take off, the shorts themselve will push it up. With good financial reports and new announcements (Nasdaq ?) it should be a money maker. If it happens the shorts will not touch it again. Have I helped? Yes, you have helped a great deal in dispelling some innuendoes from another Kiwi. Regards, F. Goelo + + +
