Kirk, The two most common arguments supporting higher prices for SFAM have been: 1. They are the second source to AMAT and customers want a second source; 2. They are a perfect fit for a NVLS takeover. It now seems likely that LRCX will become the second source and LRCX, with its strength in etch, CMP, and CMP cleaning is the likely merger candidate for NVLS. I have been following this thread for a long time and SFAM has been cheap for most of that time, but I have not bought any for the reasons stated above. Cary
