Fundamentals are nothing but a confusing thought that makes you sell against TA

True when trading trash you cannot look at fundamentals. But it is a very good idea to lock in your profits every chance you get. Pigs aren't meant to fly forever.

I hear ya, Buckey. More and more i look to the chart and let the rest drift into the background. At some point the differentiation in styles of analysis becomes semantics - if we are concerned firstly with the prices at which we buy and sell, and i don't see anybody around here admitting to being an 'investor' heh heh, then maybe our most basic FA is in fact TA.

And that is a classic little flag and pennant there on ubs, quite bullish-looking ... won't touch it myself, turned off due to reputed lack of mega-ounces/ton, but i did just buy a bunch of mmi solely on the basis of its chart, knowing zip about the tech and caring less ... also a little iau but in that case possible ounces/ton did factor in ... but if the chart hadn't looked good, no way ... funny how that goes eh ... cheers

I've just pasted that into my collected aphorisms of trading. John, you collated after Hurst and before Livermore.
