hj... i think the new economy (tech) is still supported by the old economy business. if the profits generated by each sector were compared minus stock options and trading profits, i'm sure the old world businesses would have higher profits. think about it, most consumers are non-tech employees and spend a percentage of their salaries on technology...and their salaries are a percentage of old world company profits.

Certainly the stocks are fairly valued when you look at the SGRMNE ratio between the sales, and the sum of the gross costs, the R&D, the marketing, the non operating costs or expenses, and the earnings. Remarkably, every company I've looked at in the internet sector has a SGRMNE ratio of 1!
