ot, twister, surely, you are not as negative on EMC as you are on SUNW? Please elucidate and hallucinate, if you will.

Merrill Analyst Sees Very Good 2Q For Sun Micro

NEW YORK -- Merrill Lynch & Co. analyst Steve Milunovich expects a "very good" fiscal
second quarter from Sun Microsystems Inc. (SUNW).

"We are expecting at least 20 cents a share, a 1- to 2-cent upside and revenue up 23%, maybe a
little bit more," Milunovich told CNBC in an interview Thursday. "Sun Microsystems made its
quarter in the first 10 weeks." Sun Microsystems is slated to release its quarterly financial report
later Thursday.

With Sun as the pure Internet-computing play, Milunovich is still a buyer despite the rising share
price.

Regarding IBM Corp. (IBM), Milunovich didn't think the quarter was good. Big Blue "missed
revenues which is death for a tech stock." But, he expects accelerating revenues and earnings
growth, likely to be evident in the second half of 2000.

Of all the tech stocks, Milunovich singled out EMC Corp. (EMC) as his investment pick. "Storage
is where it is at."
