Fez, I wonder if Dell had trouble getting chips for the Dell servers Intel was using for those server farms. Nothing like getting up early to plow the south 40. Corn and servers as high as an elephant's eye. "the center was built to house more than 10,000 servers..."

The Intel - DELL partnership to do hosting has been brewing for a while, and is certainly a great deal for DELL. Also, although there will be some SUN boxes, many of the DELL servers (perhaps a majority) will run LINUX as the "generic Unix" alternative. Intel has been very active in promoting this and DELL has always been the hardware partner...
