r.edwards, Better hurry. General Magic (GMGC) is developing a Digital Dash Assistant that will be modular for General Motors. biz.yahoo.com Should roll out in a few months. It will be called the Virtual Advisor - a premium service for GM's Onstar system. GM has partnered with Bell Atlantic to provide nationwide access & the modular portion of the system. biz.yahoo.com Instead of Digital Dash Assistant, GMGC calls it their Voice User Interface (VUI), delivered from their patent pending magicTalk platform. FWIW, GMGC is partnered with QCOM via WirelessKnowledge to provide handsfree access to WK's Revolv service. I own a few shares of GMGC if you couldn't already tell ;-) w2
