What a prospective IDC investor doesn't need is the likes of you cluttering this board, displaying a blatant inability to acknowledge even simple facts like TDMA/GSM has 400 million subscribers while CDMA only has 42-50 million subscribers. That's called intellectual honesty. Try it sometime.

I'm not sure why you need to be so abrasive when I am making an attempt to discuss relevant issues.

I have never denied that GSM has more subscribers. The current number of CDMAOne subscribers is about 50 million and I'll take your word that the combined GSM/TDMA subs are 8 times as high. That doesn't negate any of the points I have made. So what is your point?

All a prospective investor has to do is go to Bill's site, absorb the facts, double-check and decide for himself the risks and rewards of an investment in IDC.

If I was the kind of investor that based my investments on the contents of one web site (which in this case happens to be designed and run by a person who stands to make more money the higher the shares go) then I would certainly buy IDC shares even if they were trading over 100 and I would have no need for Silicon Investor.

>> TDMA/GSM has 400 million subscribers

True -

what percentage of IDC revenue stream is currently derived from key GSM/TDMA patents held by IDC?

what income does IDC derive per GSM subscriber? (e.g. QCOM derives ~5% royalty per CDMA 'phone built with a third party ASIC)
