Jim,

I am not taking sides in any dispute since I really don't know what the fuss is all about.

I have been on this thread for a few years. I have been a Q shareholder for over 3 years-----------way before the ascendant and totally unanticipated move (at least in size) last year.

During the years when Q underperformed the Dell's , Msft's and Csco's and we all wondered why we stayed with this dog, it was guys like Maurice that offered great insight and perspective. Many of us suffered together in OCT 98 when the stock broke 40 on the downside. I kept reading the SI board, listened to the arguments (on both sides) and hung in there. Maurice was part of that closely knit fraternity.

Maurice, like many others, became almost anonymous friends. I was simply expressing my view that his past contributions should be weighed against one transgression...........

I do not post often but do read regularly. Being a paid professional in the industry, compliance issues do not allow me to post more of my true beliefs regarding certain stocks etc. Unfortunate but it goes with the license. I admit I only read SI sporadically these days as I am more active on the Gilder Forum at his site.

Best wishes and good luck with your investments

Bob
