Tom, Thanks for the awesome post. Clearly, you've been down this road before. If your numbers are anywhere close, it looks like getting added to the index will be worth two days of average volume. Hmmm... maybe 75-100 points, plus another 25 for the hype factor? Minimum 100 point gain on the news. That's when I'll sell my short term stuff. T2 are you listening? PS The shorts had their chance already 6 months ago when they had a secondary offering at ...gasp... $85/share! PS2 Do you think any of the index funds have any latitude at all to "cheat" and get some stock/options before the news? (While they're not too busy buying it for themselves)
