It's time for companies to shift from releasing earnings reports after the market closes to before the market opens, or while the market it open. By releasing earnings after hours, the after hours trading people are at a real advantage to everyone else. Look what happened to LU a few weeks ago. Look what happened to SUNW last night.

Whether it be earnings or a major announcement, timing of the release should be shifted to before the market opens--or after the after hours trading stops.

Dear Eski: Well, if you want to get paranoid about it maybe all the companies have gotten together and talk down the future to get Greenspan to let up. This morning on a financial talk show on the radio there was now talk of NO interest rate increase by the Fed. in Feb. Wouldnt THAT be something? JDN
