John, I read that thread regularly and I have been assured by their denizens that AMD stock only goes up. The information I posted must be in error.

Seriously, they've had a great run and anyone who bought in the last 6 months or so has been well rewarded. There is a kind of giddy exuberance over there that is fun to watch. But the market is fickle and a tad strange, expecially on expiration dates. I do note the stunned silence there right now.

John, I feel sorry for them, after all this time of boosting AMD,
they finally report good earnings, and the market sells the news. They lose money.


Some rock solid companies reported good earnings, as always, and are down since those reports: INTC, MSFT, SUNW.

I don't think Intel's strategy going forward has any feelings of sorrow for AMD or their stockholders in it.
