GF - How many US public co's are there, maybe 16,000? Is that how many you are seeing referred to constantly? (if you're referring more to recent ipo co's then I would agree with you.)

And whatever stock is being sold to raise cash sure seems to be adequately absorbed by the huge sums of money pouring into stock "buy" orders the last several years.
