Adding to the volatility, I heard an analyst for -----Agressive Growth Fund (was cleaning the kitchen, so missed the first word)say this morning on CNBC that he was strong on small cap fibre channel co.'s, especially the ones that have been %50 down from their highs lately. He didn't mention any names, but sounds like ANCR to me. He was full of glowing statements about the promise therein.

Thanks for your posting. A few kind words from the WSJ will get ANCR
back to the roof it fell from a few weeks ago. Just so long as they spell the name right....

"The reality is Ancor has considerable developments in the pipeline and is expected to ramp up significantly within a short span of time meaning there is inherent risk of sudden acceleration on an announcement of any significance."

Thomas,

Good news and I think the above excerpt says it all. People who know the company and the real potential for the ramp will start to see that current analyst expectations may be very low. The question they will start to entertain (against the backdrop of other FC stocks) is:

"Can I afford to be out of this stock?"

Still speculative, but the question looms larger than ever.
