Thanks, Blue. Actually, that is not the site for the "rebels" -- that is, not for the Maskhadov government, which, so far as I know, was not "rebelling" against anyone. It is the site for the Islamic "radicals" who organized the incursion into Dagestan, which started this whole mess. The site poses (fairly successfully) as the mouthpiece for the official Chechen government. Problem is that the press seems unable to pick up on these important distinctions. Ah, well... Joan
