Agree that Rob Glaser is an exception to my general thought, but only in terms of attitude. He's still essentially a guy who wanted to be top dog. Something frictional happened between Glaser and Gates in the early 1990's before he left. I heard conflicting accounts, nothing reliable enough to repeat. It's interesting that in spite of the bad blood Glaser is still producing add-on products for Windows that do not compete with any Microsoft revenue product.
