Hey Bill, Check this out:

Carlos Slim Helu is chairman of Grupo Carso SA, a holding
company whose Grupo Sanborns SA retailing unit operates Sears stores in Mexico, music shops, and a restaurant and specialty retailer called Sanborns.

The OfficeMax purchase marks the second time in two months that the Slim family has invested in a U.S. retailer. In November, the Slims and their Grupo Carso SA reported holding a 14.8 percent stake in CompUSA Inc., the largest U.S retailer of personal computers. The investors also said they may enter joint ventures or other transactions involving the company.

I wonder if this is the "Carlo" you were wondering about from a previous post on the GUMM thread.

Just wondering,
Phil

Edit: Sorry Allen, I meant this to be posted to Bill, I simply responded to your post.

CPU - I'm still hanging in. Now all the company has to do is get the stock price above 9 for me to break even - since I doubled down when it was trading at 6 and below. If the stock hits 9, I'll mull over what to do - first and foremost: perhaps selling some out-of-the-money covered calls.
