Just an FYI for you...came across some interesting #'s last night. Did you know that AMD's much celebrated 65M in 4thQ profit was almost exactly the same amount that Intel GAVE to charity in 1998!!!! CG, now isn't that a typically Intellish comment....its hard not to be crass when you're long Intel, huh? ted

Cory, <Did you know that AMD's much celebrated 65M in 4thQ profit was almost exactly the same amount that Intel GAVE to charity in 1998!!!!> I remember when the AMD supporters were cheering a one cent EPS profit in Q3 1998, translating to <Dr. Evil mode> ONE MILLION DOLLARS </Dr. Evil mode> in profit. I said that was the same amount Intel donated for hurricane relief alone that year. I'm still puzzled by today's pricing action on AMD. Seems like the institutions still aren't buying Jerry's story. Guess it will take one or two more quarters for AMD. Tenchusatsu
