Mike,

I took a small position in Scottish & Newcastle. It's part of the beaten down beverage group in Great Britain.

The symbol is SCTN.L

finance.uk.yahoo.com

scottish-newcastle.com

It's trading around 7-8 times forward earnings with a dividend yield of over 6%. It owns pubs, lodging, distributes beer for other companies and owns Newcastle Brown Ale. (I am very fond of this beer - burp!)

Overall growth is in the mid single digits but Brown Ale is showing great promise in the US. The stock is down well
over 50% from its recent high and is trading at a level not seen for many years.

I took a very small position because I was unfamiliar with it until very recently. As I learn more I may add to the
position.

Wayne

To All, Genzyme Transgenics just left my portfolio and I bid it a very fond farewell. It was not a journey without bumps, but, lordy, the final destination was worth a couple of potholes along the way. <g>
