Good question... let me explain... the median line doesn't mean that prices will have to touch it, just that if they do then there should be a solid reaction in the other direction... the median line only attracts price, it's not a 'must' to touch that line and it's also not a trend line..... many people who use the fork mistakenly think these tines (middle, upper, and lower) are some sort of trend line.. they're not... now, if/when the price does touch the median line, then the line repels price.....
