I don't think Microsoft is going to disappear, but I doubt it will continue to be the force it has been over the past decade. Buying a browser and stuffing it into Windows was easy compared with the need to now somehow address the ubiquitous networking of thin devices and high availability servers.

Larry: MSFT is in a lot of areas that are fundamental that others are not. They will move quickly to make sure their software is used where new areas of opportunity emerge. We see that in the VERT deal. MSFT is doing just fine. It amazes me to see the big boys bailing today-block volume up near 50% today-

- based on their need to jump into a B to B that has already run to astronomical values. MSFT is becoming a value stock in here. Selling at almost a 20% discount from its high with a new product cycle starting and many brokerage house calling for price targets of 140 and above I can't see the need for them to bail out of this great stock. As far as DOJ is concerneed that whole case is proving, with each passing day, to be so moot it isn't funny. Nothing but good news from here on out. JFD

Timely quote...

"I 'm not a millionaire yet, because 8 years ago I made two horribly stupid moves. First of all, I panicked and sold off my Microsoft at $66, before Windows 95 came out."
