Anyone,

Everytime I reboot and run IE5.01 for the first time, I get
a message that says I am offline and must click try again
on the pop-up box which comes up. Anyone know why I would
be getting this message and how do I fix it so I'm
constantly online? I thought I could get along with the
message, but now it's really starting to annoy me.

Thanks!

Mr.Mark,
I have been using AOL for years and recently tried two free ISP'S and had the same strange happening with both. In each case I downloaded their software and ran it and did get on line but then AOL loaded and screwed everything up. I tried many times with each (Alta Vista and bluelight.com)always with the same result. How can I prevent AOL from taking over short of purging it from my computer?
