Almost the same situation here. I had 115 calls (paid from 3 3/4 to 5/8) and thought the # could be great. But I sold half of them at 3 before earnings and the rest at 3/8 on Wednesday morning. So I am a little bit better than breaking even. I wanted to lock the gain first before gambling on earnings. And I would run quickly when the bet is not working for me. I rarely hold option positions over earnings and I should never do.
