I agree with a lot of your criticisms of Bezos, et al, though I think you are a bit off-base when you fault them for changing their business plan. Once it became clear that more cheap capital was available than any rational person would have predicted, building out an infrastructure which would offer a stiff barrier to entry became a shrewd gamble. The valuation doesn't reflect the fact that it is a gamble, however; that's why I'm not tempted to go long here.
