Book of Greenbacks Chapter LXV111 1. And it came to pass when William, whose surname is Clinton, and his counselors, came to know how great was the expense of the bubble, and how the gold and treasure of the nation were spent, and that much money was needed to pay the artificers. 2. And when Greenspan ceased speaking, the wise men and elders counseled together, even the wise men of the mighty Sanhedrim, and resolved that it should be as Greenspan had dreamed. 7. Now when the greenbacks were scattered to the East and to the West, and to the North and to the South, and came into the hands of any man who would labor, that he might buy food and raiment. So ran the rich streams of wealth through the Nation, giving new life to business and new zest to pleasure. For cities grew and waxed very great, and the land was overflowing with fatness. 8. And the people said, surely we are living in prosperity and the bubble will never burst. Sing, Oh ye people ! and let not the voice of thanksgiving be withheld, for great is the prosperity of the nation, and mighty is the power of the clowns thereof.
