About the differences in terminology or even standards:

There is a lot of stuff that comes out that may give ammunition for anyone to take a stance. Unfortunately the nuances with words is meant for other audiences and we all get sucked into the furorre.

Much is about radio spectrum, and I will give a brief example: I noticed in a recent US report -costing like $2K plus, the terminology of GSM and then GSM 1800, yet they classified CDMA as one. Of course I am more likely to know that the original report was sponsored by someone -guess or more likely a consortium- and yet the publisher can then freely distribute at more than cost to anyone else that it is independent.

Anyway, I will stand by my previous post as correct, however I will never get into thew dogma that some many have been sucked into.

All the best for the weekend.

Back again Wednesday as I am off on another tour of Scandiland!
