Yes I had heard the rumors. And many more from AT&T following him over to GBLX for the venture. I am still unclear as to how this spin off will affect GBLX holders. Would we get some of the stock? Would they be owned 100% by GBLX and a tracking stock set-up? I thought of buying EXDS too but thought barriers to entry looked pretty small AND I thought a company like GBLX that could compete very effectively cost wise (because they own the pipes or have bandwidth trade agreements with someone who does - check out all the deals/agreements they've entered into lately!). Any instead of buying EXDS I just bought some more GBLX. Not a core holding of mine. Only 5% but my LT play. CREE might be the next LT. I see GBLX as a pure royalty play (like my NT holding) but the market is so big though that I think they could make some real money. And the barriers to entry to their 'core business' (i.e. the undersea cables) are very high now with GBLX owning 90+% of the world's cable laying ships. Reminds me a castle with a BIG moat built around it! :-) I will check out your links. Do you own GBLX? Anything new you can add to the topic?

RE: EXDS and GLBX, I can't see a Gorilla play in this tornado. What are the barriers to entry besides money? I know we have discussed this pretty thoroughly, but there are some new voices here that I would love to hear from. Is there a Gorilla play here? Is there a Royalty play here?

It reminds me a lot of the early ISP days.
