Kirk: Since dumping UTEK (cost basis $23/share: sale price $16 per share) for a 1997 tax loss, I have not followed UTEK. Understand it's in the 13's now - regressing forwardly. I still held it two weeks ago, I certainly would have dumped it to get to my 60% cash reserve. Whatever Brinker still sees in this stock to keep it on HOLD, I don't and am just inclined to move on. Maybe I'll regret moving on as I have regretted welling VOD after it had a round trip pre-split from 45 to 75 to 45 as a result of the cell phone brain cancer scare in the early 1990's.

I've decided to stick with no-load mutual funds in the future since I could get early retired if my company gets taken over by one of those mega-majors. Also decided to slowly accumulate a 5% position in TEFQX by dollar-cost-averaging. I'll leave the individual stocks to the many intelligent people who post here and who already have the skill to trade effectively.
