Ancor was excluded because the article only addressed the "leaders" in the respective niche markets. We are back to the 800 pound gorilla argument which I have grown weary of. By the way, I read the articles closely and I strongly disagree with the conclusions. Sun was and is the leader in NAS. Due to latency, I do not see how SAN could lose to NAS in the next couple of years. To paraphrase the author's argument, stagecoaches are easier to drive than airplanes so really big stagecoaches are the way to go for the future...
