Gopher Broke, It's not the volume you should look at.
Shouldn't you be looking at the Open Interest? (correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't that how many contracts are out?)

Looked to me like there was quite a bit of unwinding today.

I agree with you - especially given Athlon's speed bins but I am not sure if that is how the market sees it.
