I think you're right that you have to leave the CD to be whatever drive letter it was when you installed the program initially. The install apparently imbeds the letter in the registry or some profile file somewhere. I had similar problems while trying to use the cdrom on my desktop, over a network link, to serve data to my laptop.

I presume the Moral to story is, If you start CD as F:> you better not change it.

I believe you can change the CD path by going to the
TC2000 directory and clicking on the TC2000REGINFO.EXE
file. It will open up a box. Then go to the "FILES\CDFILES"
and "FILES\CDHISTORY" subjects and edit the drive letter
on the paths.
