Wrong on that too. <g> Here was the piece about CVCI- Thursday January 20, 3:51 pm Eastern Time CVC shares jump 33 percent after earnings report NEW YORK, Jan 20 (Reuters) - CVC Inc. (NasdaqNM:CVCI - news) shares jumped 33 percent on Wednesday despite quarterly earnings that came in one cent below Wall Street expectations. CVC, which predominantly makes equipment used to produce data storage devices, was up 3-5/8 at 14-1/2 in morning trade on the Nasdaq stock market, just below a 52-week high of 14-13/16. On Wednesday the company reported fiscal first quarter net income of $545,000, or 5 cents per share diluted, down from $480,000, or 7 cents per share, a year earlier. Analysts' consensus estimate for the quarter, ended Dec. 31, was 6 cents a share. Warburg Dillon Read LLC analyst Byron Walker told clients in a research note that the earnings shortfall was due to an expected sale slipping into the second quarter from the first. He also said CVC had announced initial sales to an undisclosed leader in the manufacture of optical components to the telecommunications industry. Walker said he was maintaining his ``buy' rating on CVC and his 12-month price target of $16 on the stock. Couple more that look interesting as well- OPTC, GSLI, CDTS. Have a good weekend.
