My statements still hold true.

1. IREG announced software compression, no hardware-based compression yet.

2. IREG uses a different compression algorithm, not LZS/Stac, which has become the de-facto standard for networking devices.

3. The move to broadband is affecting the speed of connections to the home, and likely decreasing the importance of compression there. However, there are still tons of 56K - T1 branch office connections that benefit greatly from compression capabilities.

As for the design wins, I would expect they take approximately 3-6 months from the time of the win to actual shipments. So, the next 2-3 quarters will likely be very interesting. Also, there was an article in Barron's this weekend indicating LU's business was likely to pick up again later this year. Couple this with QNTM's good numbers and strong outlook, and I think you have a very compelling story with HIFN at current valuations.

Good luck,
