Charles, have you looked at last quarter's stock price chart during earnings? Approximate values... About 18 1/2 day before earnings. October 5 Close 19 7/26 day of earnings. October 6 Beat earning estimates, buy more! Open at 20 1/8 day after earnings, closed at 18 5/8. October 7 Slow going down to 16 7/16 close on October 19. Up from there to 40. Yes, many variables, but what else is there to do but search www.hp.com all weekend? steve

Yup! That's what scares me about this board now - reasoned contrarian view points have become rare. Its my opinion that the news is way too compellingly positive for AMD to allow room for any contrarian views. ted
