Re: "Intel gets aggressive with VIA." Intel must feel they are pretty close to releasing a substitute chipset for VIA's offering or they wouldn't be doing this. VIA is the only supplier for 133MHz SDRAM chipsets for Intel's P6 generation processors and unless Intel can fill the void, should their motion be granted, Processor shipments would be limited by this action. This tells me that Solano must be near ready, or Intel doesn't expect a quick decision. EP
