Bill,

Agreed that the opportunity is now in the smaller semi-equips. Cohu is up 50% in the past week and has not even released its earnings (Jan 27th after mrkt close). It is the largest maker of test handling equipment with no strong competition and this sector had a BTB of 1.25 in December. It is trading at a significant discount on a PE/PSR basis versus the larger semi-equip stocks even after the recent run-up. It might be the next ETEC. It dominates its niche, has great finances, great growth, good earnings, and is ripe for a buyout if its stock price remains at these levels given what has happened to AMAT, TER and other larger cap stocks.

Given what has happened with the Intel announcement on 2000 capital expenditures and others this sector is going to grow much more than most folks can imagine. AMAT and others are going to reap this benefit but it is the smaller companies that have significant upside right now. Good luck!
