re "It always recovers"

John, this is a very true and important statement. It always recovers. And isn't it nice that the market occasionally give us the opportunity to buy it at a discount. MSFT at a discount! If MSFT, with Gates in his new more technical role, can't make a go of it, many more of the techs will be in deep doo doo.

The sky might feel like it is falling, but we have to keep this in perspective. These occasional downdrafts are hard to even see on the chart a few years after they happen.

Maybe this should be the new mantra for the thread on down days. We'll just take a deep breath and say it three times.

It always recovers

It always recovers

It always recovers
