A series of lock-ups of ICG shares will expire in the coming months. If large numbers of
investors sell, the stock could come under pressure. However, the expiration cycle is
likely to be a one-time event and could create a buying opportunity. We consider the
stock a franchise name and a core holding. Investors should also note that the lock-up
from Chemdex's IPO expires Saturday, making 14.8 million shares eligible for sale.
