Re: AOL/TWX deal. On the RB boards, an article from The Street.com was posted re: another company courting TWX. When I tried to locate the article on TheSTreet, I couldn't find it.

I would be extremely upset if AOL lost this deal. They need cable access and the cash flow TWX added to the bottom line was very sweet.

Hope it's not true.

To the best of my knowledge, AOL 5.0 is not available to Mac users yet. It's no problem installing AOL 5.0 on a PC but if you have a cable modem it can cause many things to go wrong. AOLs proprietary software takes over your IP address and you can't connect to your ISP (in my case-Roadrunner). For a lot of people the "Upgrade of Death" is a fact. I don't understand why AOL would release this version to the public knowing the consequences.
