Kap,

<Quote from the page: The AMD Athlon processor - the industry's first seventh-generation x86 microprocessor - significantly outperforms the sixth-generation Pentium III at the same clock speed.>

Lately, HP has been pretty openly dissing Intel's products. Recently about Xeon and now about PIII. I find that interesting given the IA-64 partnership.

I noticed that for some strange reason you "forgot" to quote the whole paragraph. In essence they are relying on AMD's own benchmarks to make this claim. There's the rest.

"Specific benchmark comparisons are posted on the AMD Web site. See web link below."

There is no web link below to reference but nonetheless let's assume they mean to refer back to AMD's benchmarks on their [AMD's] website. Most of those benchmarks clearly show Athlon losing to CuMines based on Intel's benchmarking.

Kap, why do you insist on posting this stuff? You know how it upsets the Intel longs.

They will get all agitated and insecure, and start making their obnoxious posts.
