Management certainly hasn't distinguished itself, but not buying more shares isn't something for which I'd criticize them. No matter how much you believe in your company, it is minimally prudent money management to not put all or most of your capital into the same high risk enterprise that also provides your paycheck and stock options. An executive who's worked hard all his life only to put nearly all his eggs in one basket has to be so wealthy he doesn't care about a decline, or face little price risk in his company's stock, or not believe in diversification to better assure his family's future.

That said, I'd agree it is a telling indicator that officers and board members who don't already have a lot of shares or options haven't been buying any stock at market.

I'd like to believe this stock will pop upon a Messina announcement and/or good Klip production or drilling news, but maybe there's too much investor fatigue and analyst disbelief for that to happen on just acquisition, financing, and proof of an ongoing source of cash. A great many people will have to be shown the money, not just rights. Execution!! Execution!! (of the business plan, not management). I'm counting on you guys and the rest of the possible buyers to continue your present negative sentiment even after positive announcements, so I'm not yet buying back any shares sold in December for tax reasons. Don't do a 360 on me just because SUF announces great news.
