OK my turn, without the benefit of a Martini or a shot of the good Irish whiskey. What I think is being stated by "time not being a factor" is that it is not the basis for the X axis in the charts, change in price that leads to a reversal is. Now we have to deal with the notion of change without an expression of time. That, I need a drink for.

ATin, time is not taken into consideration in our P&F charts as they are not necessarily updated each day as a bar chart must be. The P&F chart in its classic form may not be updated for 6 months if the moves area not significant enough for a box change or reversal. The bottom axes of the chart only has the years labeled as a general informational item as are the months of the year when placed in the chart, only secondary general information of limited interest. Although the high and low is evaluated each day to determine if a significant move has taken place, it is the move itself not the time that is the factor. T
